What to Expect

1. Our phone numbers are not a 24 hour crisis hotline. It is a helpline.

2. When you call, our on-call clinician will answer or you will be requested to leave a message with your name, number, a brief message and a suitable time to return your call.

3. If you leave a message, your call will be returned within 24 hours.

4. The clinician on call will perform a detailed intake to understand your situation and services needed. During this call, emotional support and resources will be provided or the case will be forwarded to a caseworker if needed.

5. We will do our best to match you with a caseworker that speaks a language you are comfortable with if you are not comfortable speaking in English.

6. Our professionally trained counselors and qualified caseworkers will speak to you about your concerns. You can also set up a meeting with us at our office or another location if you prefer to talk in person. You can also communicate via email. We follow an empowerment philosophy and you will be in charge of your choices.

7. Your privacy is our top priority. All the information you share with us is confidential. You are not obligated to share information with us.
